Nance Appliance
$48.00
The nance appliance is typically used to gently expand or rotate the upper molars, or to maintain the position of molars. It is commonly used as a space maintaining device as it can prevent upper molars from drifting forward. The nance appliance consists of stainless bands that are attached to the upper molars and a wire that connects both bands and a small acrylic piece in the center.
The Nance holding appliance has a very specific function when it comes to orthodontic treatment and can prevent any teeth from shifting as well as assisting in rotating the molars to improve your bite. The stainless steel rings are placed around the maxillary posterior teeth (upper molars) with a wire connecting the two which runs along the roof of the mouth. An acrylic piece, between the size of a quarter and a nickel is cushioned between the mouth and the wire to stop discomfort from occurring.
Description
Not every patient who is looking for orthodontic treatment needs braces or Invisalign. In fact, in many other cases another appliance is necessary to keep teeth in proper alignment. The Nance Appliance, or holding appliance, is a space maintainer that every patient needs if their top molars could use a little help staying in place. Teeth can eventually shift and rotate, ruining previous orthodontic care or causing overcrowding as well as other uncomfortable dental issues. The Nance Appliance is a subtle yet effective way to prevent dental conditions from furthering and allowing space for those smiles to positively transform. With only a little bit of stainless steel wire and a piece of acrylic the size of a quarter, the device is intricately built to improve your bite and dental health.

FAQ
Can I use another file type or does it have to be STL?
No. STL files store information regarding 3D models and computer-aided design (CAD). It is essential to send this format over in order to get the full representation of each patient’s complex digital impression.
How long does it take for the Nance Appliance to arrive after submitting the file?
It is our goal to send products quickly so that each patient can get started on their treatment as soon as possible. So, as soon as we receive the STL file, we will have those freshly created retainers out the door and on their way to you within 7 days.
